Climate in the Kathmandu Valley

The Kathmandu Valley has hot and wet summers, 30 degrees plus celcius. The winters are dry and cold but never below 0. The peaks around the valley do get some ocaisional snow.
In the winter there periods of a kind of mist - fogginess then it feels cold, but as soon as the sun is out it feels like 20 plus again.
Autum and Spring are considered the best Seasons to visit the Kathmandu Valley. Because then it´s pleasantly warm and not so much rain.
